Orbweb Partnership with ASRock to Offer Enhanced Control of Home Automation for ASRock’s X10 IoT Router

Palo Alto, CA, June 1, 2017 – Today, Orbweb Inc., the IoT cloud platform service provider, announced its partnership with ASRock for its latest flagship router product offering.

ASRock revealed the X10 router product in May and has garnered positive feedback at Computex 2017 last week. The X10 is a 2-in-1 IoT wireless router equipped with a Quad-Core AC1300 and integrated universal IoT HUB. It features ZigBee wireless for control, automation, scheduling and monitoring of home lighting, home appliances such as air conditioning, and home security systems.

Orbweb’s M2M and IoT infrastructure solutions offer setup-free connectivity and IoT device control via a user-friendly companion X10 mobile application.  Robust automation features such as time-based rules, event based rules, location-based rules and notifications are made possible by Orbweb’s IoT cloud.  Supporting a wide variety of off-the-shelf ZigBee devices from brands such as Philips, Samsung, Swann, and many others, as well as the ability to automate infrared-controlled appliances, Orbweb’s solution delivers on the promise of reliability and fast time to market.
